Strategic Planning at The University of West Florida is conducted at three levels: university, college, and department.
University Strategic Planning
The University's Strategic Plan is managed through the University Planning Office with input from the University Planning Council. Planning-related documents are archived through the University Planning Information Center.

The entire plan is reviewed periodically based on the review and analysis of assessment data and strength/weakness/opportunities/threats analyses generated by faculty, staff, students, and regional business representatives.

In addition to general allocations made to the departments and other units in the College, the College prepares a Financial Strategies Table which includes a description of the school's priority action items and financial plans to achieve the school's action items.
